Purpose
I had been a Christian for 23 years and in full time Christian ministry for 20 years before I awakened to the fact that God has a deeper priority for my life than service for Him. His purpose and highest priority for me is to experience relationship with Him daily through His love and grace. What a difference! Nothing compares to the joy and pleasure of my relationship with God since this discovery and my experiencing intimacy with God is still growing. —David English

David English sees challenges as adventures, laughs heartily, relaxes while fishing, shares deeply in front of campfires, and likes meeting every person in a room. At every opportunity he loves to communicate that intimacy with Christ is the purpose of life, and he has done so for more than 45 years on staff with Cru. He loves working worldwide with college students and businessmen. He and his wife Beth have four adult children and live in Northwest Arkansas.
